Dean groaned as he woke up, blinking lazily. A small grin spread across his face as he remembered the awesome sex he had last night. God who knew archangels could be so damn flexible? Gabriel could give every yoga teacher a run for his money.

He still wasn't actually sure what he should think about the fact that he had had mind blowing sex with the annoying archangel. But luckily Gabriel wasn't here so there would be no awkward morning after talk instead he could enjoy the comfy bed and the feeling of a night well spend.

The only thing that was missing to his complete happiness was a pie. Which was exactly what was on his stomach only a second later. Woha! Was Gabriel still here after all? If he really was Dean didn't found himself feeling bad about it since this was his favorite pie!

If that was what the angel would do with his mojo Dean wouldn't complain about it. Not even about the mind reading. That had turned out pretty awesome last night anyway. Having a lover in bed that always knew exactly what you wanted well that guaranteed for some pretty awesome sex! And Gabriel had used the insight he had on Dean's preferences for good. Only thinking about the night made Dean far to horny.

He started eating the pie. Which was by every standard awesome. The best pie ever, hands down, no contest. While he licked some crumbs from his fingers he started thinking about Gabriel and about how good it would feel to have him naked in his bed again.

"Dean what the fuck?" The startled voice of the - naked - archangel he had just fantasized about forced him out of his thoughts and left him gaping. Okay that was... If there wasn't the confused and slightly panicked look on Gabriel's face Dean would have thought that maybe the angel really wanted to give him everything he wanted. But right now Gabriel seemed to be as clueless as he was.

"What the hell am I doing in your bed? Naked?" Gabriel growled apparently not very happy about the fact that he was back here again so soon. "Didn't hear you complaining last night." Dean huffed grinning cheekily but as he saw the thunderous look that crossed Gabriel's features he instantly regreted his words. He really didn't want Gabriel pissed at him. He knew from personal experience how terrible Gabriel's practical jokes could be and he didn't even want to imagine what would happen if he got really pissed of.

"I wasn't dragged into it involuntarily last night." Gabriel looked around, like he expected something bad to happen and it took Dean a moment to figure out he was probably looking for some kind of sigil to trap him or anything else that indicated that they had done a ritual to get him here.

He snorted again and gestured at himself. "Dude I'm in bed. Naked. Do you really think I would try so summon and trap you naked?" By the angry look this didn't help the situation. "Not that I would trap you clothed either." Dean quickly added to appease the archangel at least a little bit. Gabriel actually looked a bit less likely to smite him now.

"I guess that means the pie didn't came from you either?" Dean wanted to know gesturing at the pie that still stood on the bed. Gabriel looked at him confused and shook his head. "Why should this pie be from me?" he asked like even the idea of that was the most stupid thing to ever be implied. Well, maybe it was.

Not that Dean was going to admit that. "Maybe because I thought about some nice pie and suddenly it appeared?" Dean snapped back, not liking the way Gabriel made it sound like it was impossible that Dean ever got anything from Gabriel.

"Fuck." was all the answer he got from Gabriel and before he could do something against it Gabriel started to scramble out of the bed and snapped himself in clothes. "Fuck?" Dean questioned while Gabriel looked like he was about to be eaten alive or something similar.

"Shut up for a second Winchester would you?" Dean wanted to protest but he found he couldn't speak anymore. Something that really, really wasn't fair. Gabriel on the other hand was murmuring silently to himself while he stalked through the room gesturing wildly. It looked like he was speaking to someone and for all Dean knew he might as well do that even though they were alone in the room.

He decided that he might as well get dressed while Gabriel was having his little conversation with whoever the fuck. Dean cursed in his mind - since he couldn't curse out loud - as he was unable to find his damn trousers. Couldn't they just be there? Even before he finished thinking that thought he held the fucking trousers in his hand! For a moment Dean was really happy he couldn't make a noise because he would probably have squeaked embarrassingly otherwise.

With wide eyes he gestured with the jeans in his hands and was really glad that Gabriel had noticed the magical appearance of his jeans judging by his panicked look. "Fuck." Gabriel repeated and the next minute he was standing next to Dean, his voice serious. "Dean. What did you think of before... this happened."

Dean made a face and pointed at his mouth to remind Gabriel of the fact that he couldn't speak. "Yeah right." Gabriel murmured making a dismissive motion with his hand and Dean found he could use his voice again.

"Gabe what the..." But the archangel wouldn't let him finish his sentence. "Dean just tell me what you thought before your fucking jeans appeared out of thin air!"

Dean gulped, remembering that he was dealing with an angry archangel. "Well... I... I couldn't find my jeans and wished... wished it would be just there." The last part was barely audible because fuck even after years of dealing with the supernatural Dean was really close to freaking out this time. Really, really freaking close.

Gabriel didn't seem to happy either because he started pacing again while cursing under his breath and boy could the archangel curse! That behavior didn't really help stopping Dean from freaking out though. If this made the archangel react like this it had to be bad. Like really, really bad!

"Gabriel? What is it!" he demanded to know stepping in the pace of the angelic being. He regretted this a moment later when Gabriel glared up at him with a murderous expression on his face. "What this is Winchester?" he growled and Dean had to admit that last time he had been so scared he had faced Lucifer in that hotel where Gabriel had nearly been killed.

"Yeah a little help would be nice." Dean snapped anyway, just because he was scared didn't mean he would back off. That wasn't him and Gabriel knew that. But that had apparently been the wrong thing to say because Gabriel threw up his arms and then shoved Dean. Surprised the older of the two Winchester's stumbled back, looking at the archangel disbelievingly.

“What the fuck Gabriel?” he hissed slowly getting pissed as hell because whatever he did - and he wasn't really sure he did anything - he definitely didn't deserve the shit the archangel gave him right now. But the celestial being seemed to have other ideas on that part since he was all but glaring daggers at Dean. And as he heard thunder outside he wasn't all to sure that this was just the weather.

But damn him if he would back down now. "Gabriel!" he snapped taking a step forwards, invading Gabriel's personal space. "Tell me why the fuck I can suddenly make things appear out of thin air. Is that to much to ask?" But that seemed to have been the wrong question – again – because Dean found himself shoved again - this time rather forcefully - and he was really happy the bed was there to break his fall.

Still, lying on a bed with nothing but a shirt and boxers on while an angry archangel towered over him wasn't really Dean's idea of a good time. "Well Dean." Gabriel hissed and again there was this thunder outside. Nop, definitely not the weather. "You stole a piece of my grace you asshole."

"I did what?" Dean all but shrieked probably looking and sounding as terrified and confused as he felt. Gabriel just snorted dismissively like Dean was something close to a cockroach. "Never were fast on the intake Winchester." he teased but there was more venom than humor in his voice and Dean found himself even a bit more scared. "You. Stole. A. Piece. Of. My. Grace."

Gabriel stressing every single word to make his point clear. "Yeah yeah I understood that. But how? And when? And like... what the hell Gabriel?" Gabriel didn't look like he was much less stressed than Dean but since Dean had apparently stolen a piece of his fucking grace he couldn't bring himself to be angry at the angel anymore.

“I've got no idea okay?” Gabriel snapped and for the third time Dean heard thunder outside. “Must have happened last night.” He added unhappy, keeping his gaze averted and looking like he was in pain. Maybe he was since he was missing a part of his magic or whatever.

“But how? C'mon Gabe you don't go around loosing your mojo to people!” Apparently that had been a stupid thing to say since suddenly Dean found himself pressed into the mattress by a pissed of Gabriel. And not in a nice, sexy way. More in a fucking scary way.

“No I don't Dean.” Gabriel hissed looking murderous. But as fast as that look appeared it was gone again replaced by sadness and something that looked damn close to longing and loneliness. Gabriel looked lost and that scared Dean more than anything else.

Even when facing Lucifer – his own brother – Gabriel had never looked so lost or so... so... god Dean didn't even really now how to find words for it. Gabriel pulled back now sitting on Dean's lap, though he probably didn't notice that particular fact. The distressed angel ran his fingers through his hair while he looked down at Dean.

“This... that's a problem Dean. It wasn't supposed to happen! It isn't possible.” Dean sat up at those words and looked Gabriel in the eyes who actually seemed a bit shocked and only now realizing that he was in Dean's lap. “But you know what happened?”

Gabriel crocked, his head hanging low. “Yeah.” he breathed and Dean felt an unusual surge of pity for the angel. Without thinking about it he had his arms around Gabriel and held him loosely. “So tell me what happened.” he pressed nevertheless. He still had weird angel powers after all.

A distressed noise came from the angel and for a moment Dean was sure Gabriel would just disappear and never be seen again piece of grace or not but instead he looked up at Dean, a miserable expression on his face. “When... when an angel is in love – for the lack of a better word – he opens his grace to the other person when they are very close – like when they have sex. And if the other person returns the feeling grace and soul form a... bond – again for the lack of a better word.” He shrugged, a part of his mask back in place. “And since I'm an archangel the bond allows you to... tap into my powers at least a bit.”

Dean gaped at him, eyes wide and unbelieving. His brain had given up as soon as he understood that this was only possible if both loved each other. That was impossible and ridiculous even for a Winchester. There was no way he was in love with the archangel Gabriel. And vice versa.

“Yeah you're right. Isn't possible. So how do we fix it?” Dean asked as he noticed the archangel was looking at him expectantly. He was pretty sure he didn't imagine the way Gabriel's face fell as he finished his last sentence.

But before he was able to maybe rethink what he just said and second guess the impossibility of Gabriel being in love with him the archangel was out of his lap and on the other end of the room. “Better get going. I'll be back when I found a way to... fix it.”

“Gabriel!” But as Dean called out for the angel the room was already empty and Dean was pretty sure he wasn't gonna see the angel until he had found a way to destroy the bond. “Oh crap...”
