moonofblindness because I felt like writing her a story! You're awesome sweetie *hugs*
„Would've never taken you for a snuggler.“
Dean groaned and buried his head in Gabriel's chest, absorbing the scent of his lover. „Bite me Gabriel.“ his answer lacked any heat but he didn't care right now, he was far to much gone in post-coital bliss.
“Already did that Deano.” Gabriel teased him again but there was so much affection in his voice that it really didn't count as teasing anymore.
With a small grin Dean rubbed over one of the bitemarks and looked up at Gabriel. “Well can't say I didn't like it.” Gabriel laughed softly, hand tightening were it rested on Dean's back as he drew him closer.
“I could bite you again.”, he purred with a voice that always made shivers run down Dean's spine. But right now he was to exhausted to feel more than those shivers. Damn angels and their stamina. “Think I'll pass Gabe.”
His angel actually looked disappointed which made Dean chuckle. Gabriel always managed to look like a kicked puppy and even though he had mocked Sam numerous times for it, he couldn't resist this look on Gabriel.
He sighed softly before pushing himself up and pulling Gabriel in for a kiss. It was rather sweet instead of hot or steamy and they only managed that when one of them was exhausted from sex. Usually it was Dean on the exhausted part. “I can still take care of you Gabe.”, he murmured.
Gabriel's eyes darkened with lust but he shook his head, pulling Dean in for another lazy kiss. “Now I'm the one to pass Deano.”
Dean frowned, looking at Gabriel questioningly but the archangel just pulled him down again. Dean complied and pressed close to Gabriel, resting his head on the angels chest. He held him close not caring if Gabriel would mock him for being a girl for the next days. Which he wouldn't do, Dean knew it.
Gabriel loved this snuggling as much as Dean did and even though they made fun of it all the time. In a way it was even better than the sex which was hot and steamy and sometimes very tender, but lying together afterwards was special for both of them.
Those were the rare moments of peace they embraced because it could all go down the drain again soon. Dean was startled by a low growl coming from the angel he was currently using as a pillow. “Stop thinking!” Gabriel sounded serious but his tone was back to playful only a few moments later. “If you can still think I didn't do my job properly.”
Dean heard the smirk in his voice and huffed a small laughter, not even looking up. “Fine.”, he murmured. But Gabriel didn't seem to be happy with that since he only tightened his grip. “No, not fine. I mean it. Stop thinking. Stop worrying.”
He pressed a kiss to the top of Dean's head and his voice sounded so... tender and loving Dean felt his chest tighten. “I've got you Dean. Nothing will go down the drain. I've got you and I'll take care of you. Nothing bad will ever happen to you again, you hear me?”
A huge smile spread out across Dean's face as he heard those words, together with the warmth in his chest. He was kind of glad Gabriel couldn't see him because he was sure he looked ridiculously happy right now. “Yeah. Yeah I hear you Gabe.”, he murmured, pressing a short kiss to Gabriel's chest.
Dean was pretty sure Gabriel could hear what he was thinking and for a brief moment he wondered when he had stopped being scared of the fact that this angel could make him happier than he could ever remember being.
They didn't say they loved each other because they didn't need too. It was so evident how they felt in the way they were together but suddenly Dean felt the need to tell Gabriel, to make sure he knew. “I... I love you.” he whispered almost choking on the word 'love' and feeling to much like a girl to be comfortable.
Gabriel pulled him closer, pressing kisses all over his forehead. “I know.” he said, happiness in his voice. “And I love you Dean Winchester.”
Dean grinned like a mad man at those words but he didn't care. They wouldn't say it often, but that would make the moments they did that more precious. Right now, Dean couldn't care less if the world decided to end – again or about all the monsters, ghost and other supernatural beings. Right now there were only him and Gabriel. And right now Dean Winchester was at peace, he was home.
